Launch of generic Alphagan P 0.1% (Brimonidine Tartrate)  

The generic formulation of Alphagan P 0.1% (Brimonidine Tartrate) solution has recently been released and is FDA approved. 

Brimonidine Tartrate ophthalmic solution 0.1% is an alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. 

Brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution is manufactured by Apotex Corporation. 

It is available in 3 sizes, 5ml, 10ml and 15ml bottles.
