We are excited to welcome Cathy Shaw, RN, CCM, CLNC, QRP to our team.

Cathy Shaw is a registered nurse with over 29 years of experience in workers’ compensation medical case management. She started her career in case management while working for CIGNA. Cathy holds a multistate license in Florida as well as licenses in New York and California. She provides telephonic case management coverage in all but two U.S. states.

In addition, Cathy has handled a multitude of workers’ compensation claims ranging from simple to catastrophic, including spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and burns, as well as completing medical cost projections on catastrophic files in preparation for settlements. Cathy is also a legal nurse consultant and has worked with attorneys over the years conducting medical record reviews and preparing reports.

Cathy lives in Vero Beach, Florida and covers Indian River County, Martin County, Brevard (Melbourne area), Orlando, Daytona Beach, Cape Canaveral, Port Orange, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, Sebastian, Vero Beach, West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Jupiter, Stuart, Wellington, Fort Lauderdale, Okeechobee, Lakeland, Lake Wales, and Tampa.

At Carlisle, our synergistic approach to Case Management is to pair our Case Managers with our Medical Director, Registered Pharmacists, and Orthopedic Nurses. By collaborating on each case, our team addresses key challenges such as opioid dependence, medication management, and medical equipment coordination. We are confident that our comprehensive model delivers the best outcomes for both the client and the injured worker.
